Costs: We are happy to ship products anywhere in the world. However, shipping costs vary depending on the size of the package, weight, the destination and whether the package is going air or ground.

We advise you to contact us prior to making a purchase to find out the shipping costs. We ran into an issue where a 1.179 kg book cost $41.00 Canadian to ship to the U.K. via airmail.

If you don't need the item right away we can ship products via surface or ground. However, please note, items shipped this way can take up to 10 - 12 weeks (or longer) to get to their destination.
To avoid surprises, please contact us for shipping costs and time. Insurance and Tracking: Canada Post does not always provide insurance and tracking on envelopes and small packages.
If you require either or both of these, please note that the item may have to be boxed and you will pay a higher shipping cost. As well, insurance and tracking charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
Customs: Please be aware items may sometimes be held up in customs. If an item is held in customs you may not receive it within the timeframe we quote. While we apologize for the inconvenience, we unfortunately, have no control over this. Also, you may be required to pay custom/duty charges on your end.
Shipping - Calgary Residents
To save on shipping fees for Calgary residents, Well Read Books will meet buyers in a public place and deliver the item(s) to them. Payment must already have been made or if paying by cash, can be made at the time of delivery. We will provide receipt(s) for all payments made by cash.
If you would like to have this service, please contact us either by phone or email and we will endeavour to accommodate your request. For liability and security reasons we may not be able to accommodate all requests. Deliveries must be made in a public environment and during daytime hours.
